Welcome to SDSU's chapter of NSSLHA!
Welcome to San Diego State University's chapter of the National Student Speech Language & Hearing Association. We are a pre-professional association for students interested in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Communicative Sciences. As members, students will have the opportunity to interact with students and faculty interested in speech-language pathology, audiology, and communication sciences. Each semester we will have guest speakers, service events, and fundraisers. We fundraise to support the Speech-Language Clinic at SDSU. Thank you for you interest and we'd love to see you at our next event!
November 4, 2021 at 3:30-4:30 in the Legacy Suite or via zoom: (https://SDSU.zoom.us/j/86210541604)
Why should I join?
As a member of the NSSLHA chapter at SDSU you will be able to:
Learn more about the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Hear from guest speakers at our meetings
Learn about graduate school
Network with other students
Participate in service events in the community
Participate in fundraising (a large portion of the money we raise goes to the Speech and Language Clinic at SDSU!)
How do I get involved?
To become a NSSLHA Member, check out the "points" page for specifics. Then make sure to mark your calendar for our next meeting! At the meetings you'll hear all about upcoming service events and fundraisers, and you can hear from guest speakers about what is going on in the Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences field. Attending our meetings is the best way to stay connected with NSSLHA, but if you have scheduling conflicts and cannot make it to the meetings, you're still welcome to be a member.
